ベビーブーム：フロリダで。

2004年のフロリダには、多くのハリケーンが襲来して、ちょっとしたベビーブームを引き起こしている：通常の2倍近くの女性が妊娠したのだ。8月から9月にかけて、フロリダは3度繰り返して危険なハリケーンに襲われた。その結果、数百万世帯が家に閉じこもることを余儀なくされた。現在、アメリカの保険機関は、ある現象を指摘する。例えば、デイトナ・ビーチでは例年月に30人程度の赤ちゃんが生まれているが、5月は51人、6月は43人が新たに生まれようとしている。

Baby boom nello Stato della Florida

I vari uragani che l'estate '04 investirono la Florida hanno provocato un piccolo baby-boom: fino al doppio del solito le donne incinte. Tra agosto e settembre, la Florida fu investita, a 3 riprese, da violenti uragani che costrinsero milioni di famiglie a restare barricate in casa. Ora, i sanitari dello Stato segnalano il fenomeno. A Daytona Beach, ad esempio, dove di solito nascono una trentina di bambini al mese, se ne aspettano 51 a maggio e 43 a giugno.
